This is where we customize keyword research to your specific business. We want to find keywords that attract your ideal customers - people who need your products and services and have money to spend.
You’re not going to get a 500 word listicle. Each post that we write will an in depth guide that is ~2000 words long.
The long and short of it (pun intended), is that long articles rank higher than short articles.
Before your content is published, we make sure that it’s optimized so it ranks higher and faster than your competitors.
This is a process that we've developed over the past 3 years to make sure each post gets the max traffic it can.
A few years ago, I was in charge of growing the blog at Time Doctor and trying to get consistent traffic.
I was spending hours writing and publishing what I thought were great posts, but no one was reading them.
See what I mean?
What a fail.
3 months later, I came to a realization. (Yup, it took me that long!😅 )
I needed to try something new, or give up the blog.
Step 1: Plan Your Content
You see, attracting readers and converting them into sales all starts with choosing the right topic. Most of us choose a topic we *think* our audience will love.
This is a huge mistake!
Instead, we need to choose topics on what our *ideal customers* are searching for month after month.
Step 2: Create a "Wow, that was good" post
Most advice you get about blogging is "create great content".
Or "create 10x content".
I'm not gonna lie, I have no idea what that means. 🤷♂️
It's totally subjective!
So, instead of creating great content, we need to create content that makes the reader mumble under their breath "wow, that was good".
These are the posts that convert readers into customers.
Step 3: Optimize the Content
Now that we have an amazing blog post, we have to optimize it to make sure that we squeeze the most out traffic out of it we possibly can.
This is where we take the raw materials of a good keyword and a great article and turn it into a finely tuned machine.
We run it through a process that ensures the post maximizes both traffic and conversions.
Step 4: Publish and Promote
Now it's time to get your content out there for the world to see.
By sharing it to your email list, your social media channels, and leveraging other people's audiences, you're going to be able to get some initial traffic to your post.
And then the magic happens.
Your post will continue to get traffic months (and years) after your post is published like this one we wrote about Time Sheets:
3 full years after the post was published, we still get over 10,000 visitors a month to the post.
